JT Hodges sounds like country music's Rob Thomas on his nostalgic, feel-good new song, "After Midnight." His lyrics reminiscing early morning romance are nothing short of seductive, enhanced by booming guitars and an infectious drum beat.
"After Midnight" is the first single released from the Texas native's new three-song EP of the same name. It's coupled with two similarly amorous, mid-tempo tunes: the madly passionate "Drink You Down" and groove-fueled "Let's Be Ghosts." The new EP follow's last year's six-song set, Locks on Doors.
Hodges' After Midnight EP is out September 30th. He'll celebrate the release with James Otto at their show in Memphis on Friday. On Saturday, he'll return home to Nashville, to play two sets at the Grand Ole Opry.
